Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the InSYNC Masterclass and related services offered by Maker City Paraplanner LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering for the program or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Program
The InSYNC Masterclass is a 6-week live cohort program delivered via Zoom, designed for solo financial advisors and advisor/VA or paraplanner pairs. The program includes live weekly sessions, session recordings, access to a private resource library, and a pre-program intake and assessment process. Program details, dates, and session times are communicated to registered participants prior to the program start date.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing payment, you are confirming your intent to participate in the program cohort for which you are registering. Prices are listed in US dollars.
Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident in your investment. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Full refund: Requested more than 7 days before the program start date
- No refund: Requested 7 days or fewer before the program start date, or after the program has begun
To request a refund, please email marie@makercityparaplanner.com with your name and registration details. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
Program Access and Recordings
All live sessions are recorded. Recordings are made available to registered participants within 24 hours of each session and remain accessible through the end of the program. We make reasonable efforts to ensure recordings are available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to technical circumstances beyond our control.
Scheduling
For beta cohorts, session times are coordinated around participant availability prior to the program start date. We make every reasonable effort to find a time that accommodates all registered participants. Once a session time is confirmed and communicated, it will not be changed except in extraordinary circumstances.
Participant Conduct
All participants agree to engage respectfully with other cohort members and the program facilitator. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the program without refund if their conduct is disruptive, harmful, or violates the spirit of a collaborative learning environment.
Intellectual Property
All program materials, templates, recordings, frameworks, and content provided as part of the InSYNC Masterclass are the intellectual property of Maker City Paraplanner LLC. Participants may use materials for their own personal and professional use but may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly share program content without express written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The InSYNC Masterclass is an educational program. Results will vary based on individual effort, practice circumstances, and implementation. Maker City Paraplanner LLC makes no guarantees regarding specific business outcomes, revenue increases, or practice improvements as a result of participation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, Maker City Paraplanner LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the program or use of our website. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Michigan.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants by email. Your continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
